Return of the King

Awaiting Jesus in the Prophets of Old

Advent is about anticipation–awaiting something or someone. As we pause in the Gospel of Mark for the season of Advent, we’ll be looking back to the Old Testament prophets who foretold of a Promised One–a king–who would come to rule the world in hope, love, joy, and peace (Isaiah 52:7). During the season of Advent, we’ll look at a different prophetic text that bears witness to this Kingdom that Jesus came to announce and will one day bring in full.

Advent Guide

We invite you to join us for a daily devotional to help you enter into God’s presence and understand what he longs to show you this Advent season. Each day there is a Scripture reading and prayer from one of our spiritual leaders—elders, deacons, and pastors—to guide you through this Advent season.
