Cuba Church Plants

HPPC has partnerships with Cuban churches that have a passion to share the gospel, are focused on church growth and church planting and intentional about discipleship and training Christian leaders. The Mission of the Highland Park Presbyterian Church’s Cuba is to come along side these churched to participate in the fulfillment of the Great Commission in Cuba as God leads and provides. We identify those needs to include:

  • Church growth
  • Church planting
  • Discipleship/leadership training
  • Poverty & lack of basic needs

The Cuba team was established in 1999 after numerous HPPC members traveled to Cuba with East West Ministries. The team felt a passion and calling to develop a church-to-church partnership with a focus on evangelism and church planting. We have an active membership that travels one or more times a year to Cuba to minister with our three partner churches. More than 100 HPPC members have journeyed to Cuba, and together we have raised funds to rebuild the Temples for our three strong partner churches after years of decay and ruin. The HPPC Cuba Team continues to support 25+ house church plants, 25+ missionaries, a seminary and numerous church growth program opportunities. Our mission trip team carries into Cuba bibles, Christian literature and material, VBS supplies, medicine and vitamin needs and clothing, musical parts and instruments because of scarce to no ability to find these items in Cuba.
