Helping People Find and Follow Jesus

Being a disciple is a journey, not a destination. The Discipleship Path is a tool we use to better understand where we are in our journey and to discover what God calls us to next as we follow him.

What is Discipleship?

To put it simply, discipleship means helping people find and follow Jesus. As disciples, we find Jesus, follow Jesus, and then lead others to find and follow him as well. This process has no end, and it isn’t a checklist to complete. Instead, as we commit to this mission, we grow and are changed as individuals and as a church community.

Finding Jesus

People on the Finding Jesus portion of the path are likely to say, “I am interested in Jesus, but I need to know more.” People here find it helpful to engage with opportunities to explore, listen, and learn about faith.

Following Jesus

People on the Finding Jesus portion of the path are likely to say, “I’ve made the decision to follow Jesus, but I’d like to do more to make him part of my everyday life.” People here find it helpful to engage with praying, practicing, and maturing opportunities.

Leading Others to Find and Follow Jesus

People on the Leading Others to Find and Follow Jesus portion of the path are likely to say, "I've been walking with Jesus and need to learn how to tell others about Him."
