Rev. Molly Jones was born and raised in Dallas, Texas, where she was baptized and attended Highland Park Presbyterian church with her family. Her college years were spent at Baylor University where she earned a BS in Education with a Business minor. After college Molly returned to Dallas and took a position as the Assistant to the Minister of Discipleship at HPPC, the Rev. Dr. Gareth Icenogle. From that position she moved on to be the Director of Elementary Education at HPPC working under the direction of the Rev. Dr. Roger Green. After taking some time out to get married and start a family, Molly and family moved to Augusta, Georgia where she attended Erskine Theological Seminary in Due West, South Carolina. The years at Erskine were wonderful and confirmed her call to ministry. She graduated with a Master of Divinity degree and began her ministry with the Bath Presbyterian Church in Blythe, Georgia. From there she has pastored churches in Ohio and Kansas as well before returning to Dallas three years ago. Most recently Molly has served as the Minister of Spiritual Life at Presbyterian Village North before returning to HPPC in November of 2013. Molly is married to George Jones who is an artist with work in 28 galleries around the country and they have three children Haleigh, Tyler and Gibson. Personal interests include sports of any kind, reading and time with good friends and family.A bible verse of special meaning to Molly is: Micah 6:8 He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?
