Madalyn serves in the Communications Ministry as Art Director. She joined the staff in 2013 after moving from her long-time home of San Antonio – “Go Spurs Go” – to Dallas. Madalyn is an Aggie – with a Bachelor in Environmental Design from Texas A&M University. Prior to coming to HPPC, she worked at Society of St. Vincent de Paul, a San Antonio non-profit organization that provides for people's immediate needs such as food, clothing and shelter. After getting engaged to her husband, George, Madalyn moved to Dallas to be with him.The things that Madalyn loves the most about serving on staff at HPPC are the ability to become a better graphic designer and also using her creativity to further the Kingdom. She has a true love of design – typography and layout. She says, “There is so much to learn and infinite ways to express an idea or a part of yourself.” In addition to spending free time on design, Madalyn volunteers weekly as a reading buddy at HPPC’s Adopt-a-School, Amelia Earhart Learning Center. Her favorite verse: Ecclesiastes 3:11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also, he has put eternity into man's heart, yet so that he cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end. She claims that verse because God is making everything beautiful. All the pain, sorrow and evil He will and is making beautiful. It gives me hope when everything around us looks hopeless.
