Andrew serves as the Director of Young Adults and it brings him joy to help this community discover and unpack the power of the good news of Jesus to transform every corner of their lives. He believes that the local church is the hope of the world and desires to see the church be the source of love, justice, beauty, joy, and flourishing our culture so deeply craves.A native of the San Francisco Bay Area, Andrew earned his B.A. in History from Westmont College, Santa Barbara, CA, and his MDiv from Fuller Seminary, Pasadena, CA. After college, he began to attend Solano Church, a church plant in Berkeley, when he sensed God’s call into the ministry; he continued to serve on staff for seven years. For Andrew and his wife, Alex, most of their family is in Dallas, so they moved in 2016 to raise their children, Augustine (Gus, to his friends!) and their baby on the way. They live in Oak Cliff and were drawn to that neighborhood for its diversity, great local businesses, a strong sense of community, incredible coffee, and because it has the best “hills” in Dallas!
