All Worship Services Moved Online This Sunday

Highland Park Pres Family,

As Bryan explains in the above video, we are moving our worship services online only, and all gatherings and events at Highland Park Presbyterian Church are being temporarily postponed. This takes effect today, Thursday, March 12, and will remain the current plan for the foreseeable future.

What does this mean for you?

  • Worship online with us this Sunday. Bookmark hppres.org/live and go there this Sunday morning at 8:45, 10, or 11:15 am to worship from the comfort of your home. The 8:15 am service is not taking place, please join us online for one of our other services.
  • Our Disaster Relief team continues to identify tangible ways to help those impacted by COVID-19. Visit hppres.org/disaster-relief to see how you can help.
  • Reach out to your groups and Sunday classes to discuss options for meeting remotely, including conference calls and web meetings using applications like Zoom or Skype.
  • Help spread the word about our new online only worship services. Reach out to people you know in our church family of all generations who may not be reading emails from Highland Park Pres and share this information with them.

While there is much uncertainty in the days ahead, we find unchanging hope and confidence as we look to Jesus. So stay informed about the situation, continue to pray for our communities, and remember these words from Paul: “Do not be anxious about anything but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus”. Philippians 4:6-7.

We can’t wait to join with you online for worship this Sunday at hppres.org/live
