Thank You, Heroes!

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, essential workers in our city are working tirelessly to serve our community. We are so thankful for everyone working on the frontlines amid this crisis. To honor the medical staff at Methodist Hospital, we asked our church family to make notes of appreciation to be included in care packages. We were blown away by the over 1,000 cards filled with encouraging words and sweet pictures that were gathered that Easter weekend.

The appreciation care packages were organized and delivered by our partners, Love in Motion, and filled with immune boosters, hydration supplements, stress balls, and your sweet notes. A total of 2,400 staff members, including doctors, nurses, IT, food preparation service, and security workers, at Methodist Hospital received these appreciation care packages!

In times of uncertainty, pulling together to help is crucial to the health, well-being, and stability of our local communities. As the ongoing coronavirus pandemic has shown, some of our communities need help more than ever. Although it may seem daunting at first, these are plenty of ways to lend support, funds, or even a helping hand during these trying times. Find opportunities to help at
