Transform Dallas

For the last three years, Highland Park Pres has helped lead an annual day of service called Transform Dallas, where thousands of people join together in more than 100 different projects to serve our city.

Transform Dallas was born out of a dream to see the church increasingly engaged in tangible acts of service, partnering with non-profits and local organizations, in a visible demonstration of the love of Jesus. Volunteers engage in activities such as painting, prayer walks, landscaping yards, preparing and delivering care packages, and cleaning alleyways.

My family is excited to join the Mill City Prayer Walk and Block Party next Saturday morning. Everybody’s welcome to take part (even, especially those families anticipating epic meltdowns right around nap time). We encourage you to invite your friends and neighbors to participate in these service projects for people of all ages. I personally can't wait to hear the stories of how God shows up as you serve.

Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me. Matthew 25:40 NIV

I hope to see you this Sunday as we continue in our series, I Once Was Lost, looking at Jesus’ parable of the prodigal sons.

Grateful to serve alongside you,
