Welcome
to HP Pres

A family of churches for the
Flourishing of the City

This church is not an organization you join; it’s a family to which you belong. And in this family it’s OK to not be OK, as none of us are perfect. Our desire is to be winsome followers of Jesus, joining together across generations and cultures to seek the flourishing of our city.

Current Series: I have a Question

Ever had a question about God you were either afraid to ask, or never felt like you got more than a smug, simplistic answer? Maybe you don’t know what to do with Bible passages that seem to condone violence and hate. What about science, suffering, and sexuality? This series will address head on some of the reasons we struggle to believe in God, and point to a faith that doesn’t require you to check your mind at the door. It’s about following Jesus in the growing confidence that he holds our strongest grasp on truth and our best hope for the world.

What to Expect

What should I expect when I visit?

  • Services last about an hour.
  • A 25-minute message based on Scripture.
  • Different styles of music in each service.
  • Opportunities to connect.
  • Safety Protocols.

Parking

where do I park?

We're in a neighborhood at 3821 University Boulevard and have a new underground parking garage. Entrance to the garage is from McFarlin Blvd. You can also park on side streets surrounding the church.

When you arrive, keep an eye out for our shuttle. Wave at the driver and they'll give your family a ride to your destination!

Questions About Sundays?

Here's what we are doing to keep you safe:

Before Worship

  • We will follow social distancing guidelines of six feet. Every other row will be empty and ushers will seat parties with safe space between each group.
  • Masks must be worn in accordance with CDC guidelines (no vent, worn correctly over nose and mouth). We will also have extras available.
  • There are hand sanitizing stations throughout the building.
  • The Sanctuary will be thoroughly disinfected before and after each service.

During Worship

  • Bulletins will be available in digital format only
  • The offering plates will not be passed. There will be marked offering boxes available outside the Sanctuary. Online and text to give options are also available.

After Worship

  • Please remain seated. Worship host will dismiss the west side of the Sanctuary first. A host will indicate  when the east side can dismiss. Thank you for exiting in an orderly fashion to maintain social distance.
  • For effective cleaning, worship spaces will be thoroughly disinfected before and after each service.
